About us

For the past 10 years Anabelle has enjoyed working in the transport modelling and planning sector delivering transport infrastructure projects across both private firms and various Government bodies.

 

She has excellent project management and delivery experience, fostering great relationships with various stakeholders.

 

Anabelle offers deep holistic technical expertise across the full spectrum of transport modelling including strategic modelling, mesoscopic modelling, microsimulation modelling, and intersection analysis.

 

She has worked on a variety of projects including toll road projects, state-wide freight modelling projects, as well as public transport planning projects.

 

Anabelle has project experience in various regions across Australia. She has also worked overseas in Spain for Aimsun (traffic simulation modelling software company), where she was flown across Europe and Canada to deliver training courses to software users. 

 

Anabelle is part of the City of Gold Coast’s Industry Reference Group which is a key advisory body of 20 industry professionals that provide feedback and guidance on the new Planning Scheme. Anabelle is also on the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Ltd (AITPM) Gold Coast sub-committee, helping to organise industry events for transport planning professionals.

 

Anabelle has co-authored four publications in the areas of modelling autonomous vehicles and freight modelling. She also co-presented some of these works at National and International Conferences, including the AITPM National Conference and the Transportation Research Board Innovations in Travel Modeling (TRB ITM) conference series in Colorado.

 

In addition to her passion for numbers and analytics, Anabelle is passionate about advocating for more equitable and sustainable transport options for all, especially in her local community. 

 

Anabelle holds a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Maths, Physics) from Griffith University and a Masters of Physics from Perimeter Institute/University of Waterloo in Canada where she was fortunate enough to meet Stephen Hawking.
